Due to continuing growth and development of Merlin’s attractions and brands on a global scale, we are looking for a People Change Project Manager to join our People team on a 9-month fixed-term basis. The role will be based at our London office, with a hybrid element for those looking for more flexibility.
The People Change Programme Manager will join a fast-moving and ambitious transformation programme, Fit for the Future, and make a direct contribution to the successful implementation of Merlin’s new global operating model. You will work closely with People Business Partners and local People teams to plan, prepare for, implement and track the progress of packages of change which will include structural changes as a well as changes to ways of working.
You will co-ordinate between business stakeholders, people partners, communications specialists and the programme team to manage change projects, comply with governance and reporting requirements, mitigate risks and handle issues. This role is ideal for an experienced, collaborative programme manager with an organised, flexible and practical approach.
You will also;
Project Planning & Execution
Develop and execute project plans with clear milestones and deliverables.
Track progress, manage risks, and adjust plans to meet deadlines.
Organize and lead project meetings, ensuring follow-ups are actioned.
Ensure compliance with best practices and agreed processes.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with People Business Partners and global teams to align stakeholders.
Support business units with transformation changes and problem-solving.
Keep senior leadership informed on programme progress.
Engage global sites for data prep, communications, legal, and change management.
Programme Documentation & Reporting
Prepare comprehensive programme documents and reports.
Assist the Programme Director with reporting, tracking, and risk management.
Gather and apply lessons learned for future improvements.
Advocacy & Continuous Engagement ✨
Champion and promote the programme with enthusiasm and commitment.
Manage communications across time zones, including occasional out-of-hours meetings.
Embrace flexible working to meet programme demands efficiently.
