Due to continuing growth and development of Merlin’s attractions and brands on a global scale, we are looking for a People Administrator to join our People Team on a Fixed Term Contract, which will end 31st Dec 2025. The role will be based at our Basingstoke, Poole or London office, with a hybrid element for those looking for more flexibility.

 

What you’ll be doing

New Starters

Add new joiners to the HR system and payroll log

Check references and right-to-work documents

Organise inductions and support a smooth start

Keep track of probation reviews and flag any concerns

Leavers

Process leaver paperwork and update systems

Work with IT and Finance to close accounts

Set up exit interviews and share any key feedback

Make sure offboarding runs smoothly

Recognition & Engagement

Run our employee recognition programmes and long service awards

Help with team communications and social content

HR Support & Admin

Prepare contracts, letters, and other paperwork

Help with employee benefits and answer questions

Track holiday and absence records

Support HR projects, restructures, and team moves

Arrange meetings and take notes for employee relations cases

Manage parental leave processes and keep Payroll updated

Keep employee records up to date – UK and international

Respond to emails and direct queries to the right person
