Electrical Maintenance Engineering Supervisor
Location: THORPE PARK Resort, KT16 8PN
Hours: Open Season (March-Nov): 7 on 4 off, then 7 on 3 off shift pattern with split shifts. Closed Season (Nov-Mar) Monday-Friday
Salary: Starting from £51,597

The Engineering Area Supervisor Electrical is required to consistently demonstrate superior performance across a broad spectrum of integrated activities in support of the appointed Area Manager. It is expected that the position holder will pursue the same agreed and measurable departmental objectives as colleagues in similar managerial or supervisory roles.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities in this position will change dependent on Thorpe Parks operational season and please be aware that some of these responsibilities would be undertaken at height.
Implementation and control of Health and Safety activities within area of responsibility
Facilitation of the Technical Services – Operations team interface while enhancing communication practices between groups
Supporting Marketing initiatives in area of influence when necessary
Demonstration and monitoring of sound financial stewardship and control within scope of activities and authority
Contributing to enhancing Organisational Capability through consistent demonstration and role modelling a combination of technical expertise and behavioural competencies
Identifying, nurturing, growing and retaining a technically strong, mutually supportive and committed team of professionals, acting as mentor and inspiration to all colleagues
Promoting and championing delivery of core Technical Services values, mission and objectives ensuring implementation throughout work team whilst simultaneously maintaining alignment with Resort priorities
Attainment of internal customer recognition as the primary technical resource when required to react to planned and unplanned situations and events, managing situations as necessary through consistent performance in carrying out the responsibilities of the Echo 1 role
