We’re seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team, playing a crucial role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our world-class rides and facilities.
The Role:
As an Electrical Engineer at Alton Towers Resort, you’ll bring your wealth of knowledge in planned and reactive maintenance to help maintain and improve the park’s electrical systems. You’ll be working across a variety of rides and infrastructure, using your technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently, keeping safety and performance at the forefront.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform planned and reactive maintenance on electrical systems for rides, attractions, and facilities.
Fault-find and troubleshoot sophisticated control systems, including PLC systems and AC/DC drives.
Use electrical schematics to carry out maintenance, repairs, and system upgrades.
Ensure the safe running and operation of ride control systems.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our electrical systems and processes.
Support the wider maintenance team in ensuring minimal downtime of equipment and a seamless guest experience.
Ensure all work is conducted in accordance with health and safety standards and industry regulations.
