Trainee NDT On-Site Technician

About the Role

 

We are looking for a trainee NDT on-site technician to join our team. In this role, you will support the delivery of non-destructive testing (NDT) solutions, ensuring compliance with industry standards while gaining hands-on experience in engineering applications. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise and work towards PCN qualifications in ultrasonic axle testing, eddy current, MPI, or DPI.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with on-site NDT inspections and testing to support customer needs.
Train towards PCN qualifications in ultrasonic axle testing, with opportunities for additional certifications.
Provide remote support to the NDT field engineering team and customers.
Ensure equipment, tools, and PPE are maintained, calibrated, and in compliance with safety standards.
Assist in troubleshooting and problem-solving on-site technical challenges.
Learn to deliver technical reports and findings to internal teams and customers.
Participate in improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
Work towards gaining Level II/III NDT certifications with mentorship from senior engineers.
