Site Support Engineer-Radar

Permanent, Full time, 37 hours per week (2 months on, 2 months off roster)

Serco have an exciting opportunity for a Site Support Engineer to join the fantastic team in the Falklands.
You will join the team to maintain the TPS59 Radar at the RRH Radar site ensuring that targets, quality compliance, safety, continuous improvement and other contractual obligations are met at site. As the Support Engineer you will also support all non-technical duties including heliops, bar duty, cooking, site clearance.
Main responsibilities of the role include:
Support the Site Manager and Radar Engineer to deliver 95% availability of both the Primary and Secondary radar systems.
Assist in the delivery of 1st/ 2nd line preventative maintenance on the TPS59 Radar Systems
Assist in the delivery of 1st/ 2nd and 3rd line corrective maintenance on the TPS59 Radar System
Engaging with the RAF customer and their representatives.
Provide out of hours call out to support radar availability when required
Support the Site Manger and Radar Engineer to maximise the overall system availability
Control of all tools and test equipment required to support at radar site.
Control of Spares inventory at the radar site.
Control of all Lubricants at the radar site.
Carryout non-technical tasks at the radar site.
