P2P Regional Lead

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dynamic Purchase to Pay (P2P) Regional Lead to join our talented finance team. This position is based at our Finance Hub in Basingstoke, working a minimum of 3 days a week in the office.

As the P2P Regional Lead, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments, ensuring compliance with SLAs and executing multi-currency payment runs. This role provides an exciting opportunity to streamline processes and drive operational efficiency, while collaborating with both internal teams and external vendors to deliver exceptional service. You will be instrumental in managing supplier accounts, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring smooth financial transactions across the business.

You will also manage month-end reporting, conduct supplier account reconciliations, and lead process improvements. With a focus on optimising efficiency and contributing to key financial reports, this is a hands-on role with no direct reports. In addition, you will work closely with the O2C and R2R teams to ensure the accuracy of financial records, support with aged GRNI balances, and help implement solutions that drive continuous improvement across the P2P function. Your proactive approach will also involve identifying opportunities to reduce costs and enhance service delivery, ensuring Merlin Entertainments maintains operational excellence.
