Role: Front End Developer
Location: Newcastle
Hybrid Working: Please note that this role will require you to work from our Newcastle, Cobalt Business Park office 3 days per week.

About the role:
As a Front End Developer, you will work with a team of creative and passionate UX & Design specialists and Development team who are responsible for creating user-centred designs for digital products and services.
This is a great opportunity to work across multiple different clients in a range of industries. As a member of our close-knit UX Design & development team, you will champion the value of User-Centred Design and development as part of delivery best practice across all digital products and services.
Qualifications
Role responsibilities:
- Create high quality prototypes which are clear, easy to understand, and accessible.
- Understand client standards & guidelines as well as having awareness of industry best practice to produce high-quality front-end experiences to meet user needs.
- Make sure your prototypes and front-end interactions are accurate by working closely with Subject Matter Experts.
- Collaborate with other teams and specialisms, like UX Designers, User Researchers, Developers, Dev Ops, Product, Delivery.
- Report on and present your work, both internally and to client stakeholders.
- Work closely with our UX & Design Team and as part of a Development Team to share knowledge, learn new skills, and design & develop transformational services.
Job Qualifications:
- Relevant experience as a Front-End Developer or similar field.
- You have good written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with design libraries, design patterns, style guides and coding standards.
- You have worked as part of an Agile Scrum team.
- You can address the needs of key stakeholders whilst creating a user-centric design & high quality UX experiences.
- Experience using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, NodeJS.
- Experience of design & prototyping tools.
- Experience of Development Best Practices, Coding Standards, Unit Testing, using Version Control to manage code, Continuous Integration pipelines, working with Cloud Development Platforms.
