The Blackpool Tower is searching for a Facilities Assistant to help keep the magic alive behind the scenes. This is your chance to be part of an iconic landmark and ensure everything runs smoothly for the thousands of guests who walk through our doors every day.
No two days are the same in this hands-on role. One moment, you might be fixing a light in the spectacular Ballroom, the next, making sure the Dungeon’s eerie effects are running perfectly. You’ll be plumbing, repairing, painting, maintaining, and problem-solving across our famous attractions – making sure every experience is as incredible as it should be.
What You’ll Be Doing
Carrying out essential maintenance to keep our attractions in top shape.
Fixing leaks, unblocking drains, changing lights, and tackling carpentry tasks.
Using power tools and equipment to repair and maintain our iconic spaces.
Working in all weather conditions – indoors, outdoors, and at heights.
Ensuring everything is safe, secure, and looking its best.
This is a permanent, full-time role. Initially shifts will be Monday to Friday 8 till 4, then once ride training has been signed off it will be 1 weekend in 4 (hours depending on ride opening times). This includes weekend and bank holidays.
