Location: University of Birmingham, Edgbaston, Birmingham UK
Grade 9 – £56,921 – £85,544 for appointment as an Anniversary Fellow at Associate Professor equivalent (we may make some appointments at Grade 8 – £46,485 – £62,098 for candidates who are experienced at Assistant Professor/Assistant Professor level and who are on a sharp upwards trajectory)

Your skills and attributes for success:
- Normally, a higher degree relevant to the research/teaching area (usually PhD) or equivalent qualifications.
- Established research career within your field and able to demonstrate evidence of an emerging track record of high-quality publications and ambitious research plans.
- Successful or growing sustained research income generation, e.g. through research grants, contracts, research consultancy or other external funding
- National reputation for the development of teaching and learning excellence within the discipline.
- Successful performance in significant administrative/managerial role.
- Value and actively embrace the diversity of our workforce, students and the environment we work in.

If you are at the equivalent of Assistant or Associate Professor, depending on career trajectory and demonstrable experience of research breadth. Where appointments are made at Assistant Professor level, you will benefit from our Academic Development Programme support, with the expectation of performing at a level which allows rapid promotion to Associate Professor.
We welcome applications from international applicants and can offer support for work visas. As we may be able to look at Global Talent Visa if these are Grade 9 roles and all of the academic/researcher requirements are met as an alternative to Skilled Worker Visa.
