Permanent, Full time, 43 hours (Shift pattern of 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off)

£27,215 per annum plus 12% flexibility allowance. Total £30,481
Serco have an exciting opportunity for a Security Guard to join their Skynet contract in Corsham, Wiltshire.
Serco Defence delivers a wide range of support to the prestigious Skynet contract providing secure satellite communication services to the UK Government and Armed Forces. The role requires attention to detail, excellent time keeping and excellent customer service skills. Your duties will include but are not limited to:
First line of defence in support of the site mission
Patrols and escort duties
Vehicle and baggage searches
Issue and receipt of keys
Control of CCTV, IDS & Entry Control systems
Processing visitors
Report writing
Liaise with other security personnel and outside agencies
Ongoing training and development
A degree of flexibility and other duties within scope as required by the Security Manager
Security Industry Authority Information:
SIA Licence holders preferable; able to carry out physical guarding duties
SIA training & licence costs may be provided for the right candidate, full uniform and PPE will also be provided.
What you’ll need to do the role:
Valid full car driving licence (manual)
Able to achieve National Security Vetting (SC)
Experience of using Microsoft Office Suite
